Bad Mood Bio-Booklet (24 pages)
Incredible to finally read all this stuff. I was an obsessive listener of their albums since the 80s, when I found them through Nettwerk due to my enjoying Skinny Puppy. I delved into their back catalog, being a big fan of weird noise, tape loops, etc. I was always interested to read these notes but afraid to write to their info address because the text inviting people to do so always came with a note about 'cheques drawn on obscure American banks will be cheerfully burnt,' and it seemed like a tricky situation.
My favorite material of theirs is from around "Come Visit" era, because it's a genius conflagration of uncomfortable noise, strange voices from the ether, electronic percussion, and lo-fi samples of things being smacked around that sound like they were triggered from a short memory digital delay. (Used to do that myself, love it.) It's my kind of noise.
